ANNOUNCEMENTS
BOARD

The
online speaking proposal is now closed for convention 2012.
Thank you to all who submitted a speaking proposal. If
your proposed session is chosen, you will be contacted.

Convention Session Information on the website reflects all
sessions booked as of January 17th, 2012. The website
will be updated as sessions are added or confirmed.
-
Glenbow Museum is again offering a reduced rate of $5, (regular
price is $14) for delegates to come tour the museum during the
two days of convention. Delegates will need to show their
booklet.

Convention 2012 will present a new format for Thursday morning.
Three featured speakers will be presenting two repeat sessions
in Exhibition Hall C, Macleod Hall, and in the Imperial Rooms at
the Hyatt . Delegates will choose to see two of the three
speakers. This requires the delegates to move to another
room instead of the speakers moving rooms as in the past.

Sessions will be offered during the noon hour on both Thursday
and Friday.

Evaluations will not be in the booklet this year. An
online link to the session evaluations and the Convention as a
Whole Evaluation will be available on this announcements board
on the first day of convention and will be active for one week
after which time the link will be closed.

Pre-registration is required for sessions C03, C09,
D04, D17, D25, D27, E04, F26, G20, H08, I05.

Procedure for a
Request to be absent from Palliser Convention
-
This is a closed convention for delegates only. Please do
not bring your children or spouse to the convention sessions. The general
public, which includes parents, is also not allowed to attend.
You are also reminded that the
two days of convention are teaching days and therefore children should not
attend.

PDF VERSION OF THE CONVENTION BOOKLET WILL BE AVAILABLE HERE ON
FEB 21, 2012 WHICH WILL INCLUDE ALL THE CHANGES MADE AFTER
PRINTING. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THIS PDF TO VIEW ON
YOUR TABLET, IPOD, E-READER OR ANY PORTABLE DEVICE THAT READS
PDF FILES.
